I realize that I have one car service that I like to use to get to the airport. I wonder if anyone else has their preferences for good, cheap car services that are professional and timely, and don't screw you when you pay the fare. I'm in New York - this question may not matter much to people who don't live in an area where driving is an abnormality :)
Personally, I like using Olympic or Astoria in queens (same company). I'm on Roosevelt Island, and they always have a car within 10-15 minutes to get me to my flights at laguardia. It only costs about $12-13. They're at 718-728-3030.
So, who do other people use to go where? What do they charge? How do you like them?

Since I live in Queens, I've also been using a car service based out of Astoria - "ANDREA" (718 392 9191). The cars are not the most luxury but they're cheap (see below) and are usually on time (10-15 min wait if you're close to their base in Queens or about 20-25 min if you need to be picked up in Manhattan).
The only problem I had with them is once they sort of refused to pick me up from DUMBO in Brooklyn, - the operator said no drivers were available to go there... That was the week when there were like 5 livery cab driver shootings within days of each other, so may be they were a bit scared of the DUMBO address...
Here are the prices I know of:
Astoria <-> Downtown: $18 or $19
Astoria <-> Uptown: $15
Astoria <-> LGA: less than $10
Astoria <-> JFK: $20-something
